Autumn Highlights & FDM Delights

Happy Fall, Y’all!

Our main event, FDMeets Katowice, turned out to be a true success.

It was a big challenge to bring everything together, and we are especially grateful to Piotr Rybacki and David Struzik, who worked tirelessly to make it all possible.

The program itself was a well-balanced mix of theoretical presentations and hands-on practice.

Over the course of two days66 participants enjoyed insightful lectures and practical sessions.

At times, the experiences were even unusual – like practicing with blindfolds under the guidance of Joachim Stolz – which reminded us all how creative and inspiring these meetings can be.

For those who would like to take another look, the full program remains available on our website.

Saturday evening closed with energy and laughter.

After a day of intense learning, participants came together to relax, bowl, play billiards, dance, and share food and drinks in a lively and joyful atmosphere.

These social moments remind us that FDMeets is not just about learning, but also about connecting and building friendships.

On Sunday morning, we had the privilege of hosting Dr. Perkins, who traveled all the way from Alaska to share rare and valuable original Typaldos videos.

His contribution brought a unique perspective and was a real highlight for many attendees.

Your feedback is more than a formality for us – it is how we ensure that each event truly serves the needs of our members.

We would like to thank everyone who joined FDMeets Katowice and took the time to share their experiences with us.

Based on the feedback we received, we are truly delighted that the vast majority of participants rated the congress as high-quality, well-organized, and inspiring.

We are especially proud that every respondent said they will be able to apply the knowledge gained in their daily professional work – for us, that’s the most valuable feedback of all.

Your comments and suggestions are extremely important to us, as they help us make future events even smoother, more engaging, and even more valuable.

Many of you shared ideas for new topics, program improvements, and ways to enhance the overall experience – we will carefully consider all of them as we plan the next FDMeets.

As one participant beautifully said:

“Thank you from all my heart. You did a great miracle to set this event up, so we could fully relax in the structure.”

Another added:
“It was an amazing experience – very well organized and inspiring.”

Thank you for all the positive feedback, openness, and constructive thoughts – they are our greatest motivation to continue fostering the energy and professional growth of the FDM community.

I’m  from Poland. For almost four years now, I have been living in Hannover, Germany, where I work at ETAmed Hannover as well as at Therapie Zentrum Völksen. I’m an IC therapist in FDM.

My journey with FDM began in 2019, and since then I have been an active participant in all FDM symposiums, as well as an assistant in various courses.

I also regularly give lectures as a speaker at FDM congresses and organize working groups, creating space for knowledge exchange and collaboration within the FDM community.

I decided to put myself forward for the EFDMA board because I want to spread the spirit of FDM, and I believe that with my experience, ideas, and positive attitude, I can both enrich and support the current board in its responsibilities.
